Viruses mutate which is why there are already four variants. There seems to be another one albeit a slower one.

The numbers are increasing. My sister in law, brother in law, their respective spouses, and two adult nephews all have covid. They are all quite unwell with it, despite being fully vaccinated.
The only good news (for us) is that it was three weeks ago when we visited them.

France now recognises the Indian version of the AZ vaccinations. It’s also not necessary for double vaccinated travellers to provide a PCR test to travel there from the U.K. we 18th July.
Non vaccinated people over 12 will have to, plus have an essential reason for travel.

I don’t understand why pharmacies such as Boots & Lloyds cannot help out, as has been pointed out, they handle thousands of flu jabs each autumn.
The only reason I can see is the distancing/hygiene may be an issue.
I had to see my GP yesterday. When you ring the surgery, there is an automatic message to listen to before speaking to the receptionist. It says not to ring the surgery about access to the vaccine, as the local centre will be based at the Racecourse. My own surgery has no supplies of the vaccine.
