Oh don't be so mean. They deserve massive credit for using Beaky's vanity project as a reason to finally enable visiting teams not to have to use fukken portacabins as changing rooms. Welcome to the 21st century.
I see it as a publicity stunt. That and if it were to happen Beaky would love the 'kudos' that would go with selling a manager for such a sum. And it would become nearly the ringfenced amount too.
If the press reports are true, Beaky has taken a £200M loan out recently secured on player sales to provide the 'top up' on the ringfenced money to complete the single stand replacement and presumably for more payer purchases.
I suppose next on the list for the plonkers is the fear that when qualified people examine their accounts when Beaky's secret loan is included, that will make their debt higher than ours. Still, they'll find a way to recalculate everything to make their debt lower. Sad.
That sort of fits with my understanding. The previous clubs shafted St J's but some fans did the decent thing. Funnily enough, when St J's get mentioned their fans get pissy-knickered because they jump to the conclusion that we do not accept that St J's were paid. The point is that club seems...
Scott Parker. My first thought being that this would be such a Beaky thing to do. Unemployed with possibly no 'team' to bring with him and a one time 'next big thing' about him. I suppose he could swallow Roy's compo for that. Roy was accepted because his team comprised Ray Lewington only...
Jordan getting digs in on Beaky will always be funny.
A combination of seeing (a) us qualify for Europe last season (b) seeing West Ham (not that long ago in the second tier) win a Euro cup last season and (c) seeing us (mostly) and West Ham doing well in Europe and the league this season...
Without the plonkers, there is never much noise. I normally watch their games with the volume down because the droning noise gets on my tits. A few games ago, I turned it up because it was okay - turns out that was the game that they were locked out of their cupboard so they they went mute in...
It is a free hit for either of them. As terrible as they are, they are staying up - not only will the promoted 3 go down for being feeble, Everton and Forest will be getting deductions. You don't even need to freshen up the squad this window. In about a year's time you can move on when a real...
