Or, you could defend, i.e. Greer. I love El-Abd, and thought he had a good game, but his defending at corners was risky at best, and as I say, with the wrong striker/ref he could have given away countless penalties.
I think he did play well in general (better than Dunk) but his defending of set-pieces was very worrying. And Carroll could have easily dropped a couple of times and got a penalty from a different ref. Fair or not, he needs to be careful.
