Sorry if posted already but my old mate Ringo (a season ticket holder at the Goldstone and Withdean) has an online radio show a couple of times a month which you might enjoy. It sounds like what it is: him playing tunes in his living room whilst drinking too much...
Frank Worthington. Bit young to remember him at his peak and was put off because he looked like the owner of a Worksop strip club. But made it all look easy.
I was at several of those gigs (though not the bottoming at the Komedia!)! Don't remember seeing any fights at the '86 Run DMC/Beastie Boys gig at the Brighton Centre but there was a a pretty tense atmosphere. Plenty of little shits hunting in packs. Public Enemy at the Academy was similar...
