Who do you reckon is the most promising youngster we have in the U23s/First Team fringes.
Rob Hunt, Jesse Starkey, James Tilley, Henrik Bjordal all have looked pretty exciting from what I've seen of them this season. All have big futures at the club I hope!
Maenppa
Tomori
Hunemeier
Goldson
Adekugbe
Kayal
Sidwell
March
Towell
Skalak
Hemed
We played a 4-2-3-1 sort of shape against MK Dons and I can't see us changing it up too much for a game against Lincoln. It's a shame Rob Hunt's gone out on loan now because I thought he looked ace against...
Is it too early to be asking if players are good enough for the Premier League? If not, might I ask the question of Jiri Skalak.
With more minutes this season than both Solly March and Jamie Murphy, Jiri Skalak has not started the last two games against Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff. His...
Ultimately, he has been completely true to his word this season and has given us a lot of stability in the midfield and is absolutely worth a new contract.
From my understanding of this summer, the issue wasn't so much the club, it was just the opportunity to play in the top league was more...
His improvement between 2014/15 and 15/16 really was worth all the attention it received, but it's really uplifting to see that he's improving himself even further.
There's now a certain level of calmness around him as he moves towards an incoming delivery, and some of his reflex saves...
With Murray at 33 and Hemed at 29 (at the time of writing), why are so many people throwing around the names of so many old players?
I would personally love to get someone who will fire us to the Premier League, but also be a key member of the squad that keeps us there. Quite simply, a player...
Beram Kayal is our 2015/16 player of the season! Certainly no complaints from me.
His technique, power, commitment and all round work rate is a testament to the club, and is the driving force behind our success, this season...
Ability, Professionalism, Experience, Passion... is Liam Rosenior the best signing from our Summer transfer window?
I believe so at least: https://brightonfanreview.wordpress.com/2016/04/21/liam-rosenior-signing-of-the-season/
With the exception of Elvis Manu, I cannot name one player who has...
You only need to look at some of the sides in the Premier League to measure the quality needed to survive in the top division.
Every single week, we turn out to watch a Brighton team play at a much higher level than teams like Newcastle, Sunderland, Norwich, Crystal Palace etc. I do honestly...
I really think all this talk about points targets is a tad... distracting?
Surely, the aim should be simple: there are four games left to play, we have the ability to win them all, win them all and we get promoted.
On the back of his recent hat-trick performance, Hemed's goal tally has reached 16 for his first season in England. I'm sure most Albion fans would have been overjoyed with that turnout, at the start of the season.
But, who do you think is the better striker - Tomer Hemed, or Leonardo Ulloa...
For me, Knockaert is a definite start. His fantastic form at home since he's signed against teams like Huddersfield, Bolton and Burnley show, not only his immense talent, but also his enjoyment in playing in front of the Albion home support.
I'm not awfully worried about the Fulham attack; of...
I think another season long loan would be excellent for Rohan, rather than simply dumping him out of the club.
The problem with Rohan is far from his talent, it's his inability to fit into a 4-4-2 system. That can be worked on, and I would much rather work with that, rather than having to deal...
Can I be potentially controversial for a moment?
I wouldn't start Skalak. I know he's the man in form, but I'm far from convinced that he's a better option than Jamie Murphy or Anthony Knockaert (both of whom played very decently against a stronger opponent than Birmingham).
A 4-4-2...
I'm sure I speak for every Brighton fan when I say: I was OVERJOYED when we signed James Wilson from Manchester United.
Six months or so on, would you say he was a good bit of business?
Personally, I think he has been. Four goals (at the time of writing), have all mattered. What's more, I...
Does anyone know how long Sam is out for? I think anyone that has seen the team when he plays knows what a HUGE miss he can be.
I'm not ready to give up on Wilson yet though. Attitude or illness, we've seen the talent that he has and I think I would have more confidence in a team with him and...
Stockdale - 7: Didn't really have much of a chance on either of the goals. I thought his kicking today was superb, and was constantly a source of attacking potential.
Bruno - 7: Another solid, brave performance from the captain. Hoping his knock doesn't keep him out of action.
Goldson - 8...
Not only best season, but best team to watch I think!
I think the best bit of this season has been the real sense of community, and togetherness that comes from the team. I think there is a real determination coming from the players, the likes of Rosenior, Bruno, Kayal etc. after the MK Dons...
I think by the 80th minute, half the players were exhausted. Hemed, Kayal, Rosenior, Bruno etc. had all had lumps taken out of them throughout the game. It's not the managers fault when you have a team's midfield which relies on aggressive tackling (Mr Barton, will you please step forward?).
I...
I thought the team played really well against a very decent Burnley side, for the majority of the game, we were the better side. Because of that, I really don't think there's any need to change the team around too much, unless of course individuals like Bruno or Baldock are injured.
Stockdale...
