The WSL invaders (4 of them) ran on to the pitch right in front of me. No attempt by the stewards to stop them, the line of police in front of the away end weren't interested in them.
They celebrated in the player huddle for a good few mins (can clearly see them on motd) then went voluntarily...
I'll raise you Paul Ince playing for wolves when we beat them 4-1 in 2003. I was there really early picking up a ticket from a guy I worked with who's son was a ball boy for the match. His face when he walked out on to the pitch in his tracksuit to take it all in!
I just thought of all the...
This thread touches me. There is a Scottish OBS frequently on The 5:40pm East Croydon to Lewes train who has this 'witty' badly rehearsed script she rolls off every time which is the ultimate cringe. You can literally FEEL the carriage shrink in on itself.
On the flipside there is a conductor...
I just about have the time and capacity in life to get to home games and keep tabs on away games checking my phone 2 or 3 times over the 90 mins.
Oh to be a simpleton and have time to get angry about other team's results and post about it on the internet.
Good tradesmen and tradeswomen of NSC,
I've sent a load of emails out to local (Sussex) loft conversion companies for quotes and only had 1 chap so far come back to me and come round to measure up etc, I'm expecting a quote in the next 10 days.
I have a 3 bed end of terrace new build (8 years...
Read a tweet yesterday that rang true about the state of football fans these days:
Grown men in the stands watching a penalty being taken through their phone camera
Live vlogging the game from the stands
Kids in the stands watching the entire game through their ipad
Grown men recording...
Doesn't look convincing? I think you have to afford the player at least a couple of starts before making your expert judgement. Being thrown on for a few 15 minute cameos isn't enough to judge is it?
I take a lot of comfort from the fact they will be beside themselves that their 'heroes' are in town tomorrow and the vast majority of them won't have a ticket.
Steve Claridge has got to be up there? Played a few games for us under McGhee in the championship, he must have been 40 / 41
Edit: he was 38, he just looked over 40 to me
I'm a bit jealous. The Amex looks fantastic but I defected from Fifa to PES 16 years ago.
I've tried to go back, but Fifa just feels so basic and so easy in comparison.
I wish it didn't though, downloading a name and kit patch for PES is fiddly and takes an age.
