I had this exact same thought the other day. We couldn't be more Football Manager if we tried. And to think I always felt slightly bothered by that lack of "realism"!

Why do we incessantly bang on about our players leaving for big clubs? The instant anyone is mentioned being in good form or developing well, half the forum piles in with "he'll be the next off for £100m" Why can't we just enjoy having wonderful players without worrying about them leaving!
