Previously posted on here about Booking.com cancelling a booking and me getting a nice alternative place for dirt cheap. Well that booking also cancelled and i then had to find a third property close enough to Tottenhams stadium for the Pearl Jam concert. Managed to find one at midday on the day...

    [Misc] Cold Turkey on Caffeine

I've suffered migraines all my life and my DR told me to stop caffeine, chocolate, cheese and alcohol. After a month I could reintroduce one thing to see if migraines kicked in. I had terrible headaches for about a week but reintroduced chocolate then next month alcohol then cheese. I then took...

    [Misc] Little wins in life…

Booked two rooms in a hotel two weeks ago so I could not stress out about getting away from the Pearl Jam concert. Booking got cancelled by the hotel so booking.com refunded me and sorted a new place to stay. Its closer and cheaper plus bookings.com will give me a discount too. Gone from £200...

[Brighton] Tree damage in Preston Park (again)

AH ok. We actually visit the travellers during the week too. not ones who rock up but the ones who use the travellers site by the A27. they are a tough crowd as they live by their own code but you can get decent chats out of them. It takes ages for them to relax around outsiders though.

[Brighton] Tree damage in Preston Park (again)

untrue. If you engage in a positive way by maybe offering them the chance to help look after the place and have some sort of ownership, then you'll never need cctv or security as they would do that for you. I takes time to get the kids onside but when they do they can be a force of good.

[Brighton] Tree damage in Preston Park (again)

My youth working team have the youth bus that attend Preston park on some evenings. I can get them to swing by the rockery to chat with any young people that they find. It may be one evening a week or every other week as our funding has been cut. PM me more details if you have them

[Albion] Bus drivers wearing the colours (Weds)

This is in aid of Dave who sits in N1B right up the back. I've sat with Dave for years and been away on countless trips with him too. Brilliant what the bus drivers are doing to help him.

[Football] What do you consider a great neighbour, at the Amex?

I sit in the north west corner and our row plus the one behind and one in front are probably the nicest bunch of people to share football with. I know two of the chaps behind and my two kids and a mate and his kid on the same row, otherwise I couldn't even tell you anyone elses name but it is a...

[News] 15 yr school girl stabbed to death Croydon

Im a fully qualified youth worker at present working in Woodingdean. Due to the amount of money offered to us we can open three times a week for 2 hours a time. Money needs putting into youth provisions so we can have the youth club open as much as is possible. Would like to be open 9 to 9 so...

    [Albion] Excited?

I didn't think I would be this excited but the ole tummy has butterflies going mental already. Its been a long time since being teased at school for being an Brighton fan (back in the Goldstone days) and now taking my kids all over the country. Can't wait.

    [Albion] What to wear

I vary between three shirts usually. Shirt either carried or worn depending on how hot it is and same shirt is worn home and away until we lose, then the next shirt comes back into favour. my son, however, is now one of those stone island jumper, jeans and Adidas trainer wearing sheep.
