Southampton - most basic team to ever be leading the second tier of English football?

I dissagree mate to be fair. Beyond our first 16 we have little. An excellent first eleven and not much of a plan 'B,' that has cost us dearly recently now the season has begun to take it's toll. Not wishing to take anything away from your win. You responded extremely well to press home the...

Southampton - most basic team to ever be leading the second tier of English football?

Gentlemen. We obviously suffered with Lambert's dismissal and the dissallowed goal from Adam Lallana. I personally was stunned at how weak our bench was today (No Steve De Ridder, Morgan Schneiderlin, Jose Fonte etc) so naturally when we had to dig deep we couldn't respond. Lambert being key to...

It's fair to say he is now our third choice central midfielder behind Chaplow and Schneiderlin. He just has seemed very complacent. Schneiderlin offers better passing skill and Chaplow can simply do everything Hamster tries but is much much better at it. Hamster is not a convincing captain.

Makes sense. We had to sign Richard Chaplow in order for him to pull his finger out. Was becoming very lazy and complacent with only him and Schneiderlin as our main central midfielders.... The difference now he is under pressure for his place is remarkable.

The only thing I don't really understand, why call us Scummers? Only the skates do that and even then it's just daft! Anyway, Hammond. Is it just 'ex player' syndrome with him or did he do something to part with you guys on particularly bad terms?

Tends to be a first come first serve attitude normally. The odd few spares are offered on our forums but they are few and far between. For the smaller capacity grounds it can be a bit frantic.... especially if the kick off time is favourable.

He is with us too, don't worry. Becoming a bit of a scapegoat right now.

Yeah, far too common. Get enough people together though and there will always be that fraction of twats. I hope you guys don't mind me coming on here. It is genuinely good to get an insight into how a rival is perceiving things.

I look forward to seeing how our ticket office divide that up between our season ticket holders! They're damned if they do and damned if they don't right now, particularly after linking tickets for the Man Utd game with the Carlisle home fixture.

Absolutely. What is the capacity of your guys away end? Also, I take it SCC means 'South Coast Club?' God bless 'The Sun.'

Hello everyone. Firstly, sorry about the more trollish element of our fanbase who have found their way here. They do not speak for all of us. Far from it. It's great to see both of our clubs fighting it out at the top of league 1. There's a long way to go yet bet I do hope we are both up...

    Four League One games tonight

True. :) Congratulations on that result. Really enjoyed seeing that one come in. As I said. Hope we both have the opportunity to do that twice next season in the league.

Guys. I come in peace. I am a Saints fan but I just wanted to say, genuinely. Best of Luck for the rest of the season. It's brilliant to see the South cost clubs up there fighting for promotion. May the best team prevail.... whoever it may be. Let's enjoy the ride together and look forward to...
