I was reading recently about City's way of doing things. I think it was 2018/19, City submitted their accounts but provided no documentary evidence to support their figures. PL said you must provide evidence and City said you have no jurisdiction to ask us for that. It went to court about a year...
I do think the revised format of the CL & EL will put more pressure on squads this season and those with the biggest squads will prevail. City likely of course, subject to any upcoming charges.
Clearly they only looked at the things they didn't like. No-one will change the things we like, oh s**t they are going to change them as well. No, no that can't happen!
I'm involved with a couple of private schools, smallish about 400 pupils each. They are both going to charge parents 12% VAT as they have worked out they can claim back the other 8% using the VAT system. They use companies for catering & cleaning which charge them VAT which they can now claim...
Unfortunately for the 64%, charging VAT on education is outlawed in the EU so Labour would have to u-turn that policy which I'm guessing is unlikely. Freeports are also an issue but I really don't know much about them.
Unfortunately any system that has to administer over 10m applications will cost the earth and not be worth it, even if its just a tick box to say you want it. I guess that's why the Govt have opted for Pension Credit qualification as it's quick and easy to do. I think they could have done it in...
So 800,000 pensioners now apply and get Pension Credit, unlocking the Winter Fuel Allowance. Surely this costs more overall than the savings made by means testing the allowance in the first place?!?
The only consolation I have, is that next season I think the PL will be considerably stronger than this year. The teams coming up will be far stronger than Sheff Utd, Luton & Burnley and those teams just outside relegation could struggle. Clutching at straws and wishful thinking!!
OH MY GOD MY EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN DOING THE HELTER SKELTER.
Seeing others not getting their ticket yesterday & some checking their bookings, I did the same & found a problem with my booking, in that I didn’t have one. Not sure how on earth that happened, I was Tier 1 & logged on 2pm last...
It’s easy to change the time of your ticket. I haven’t bothered with the app but the email I have for them has a ‘manage ticket’ option where you can change the time.
If you’re getting the tickets online you also need to ‘check in’ before you board the train. I got a return ticket & on closer inspection it had given me train times which were of no use. It’s easy to change them but I’m not sure if you need the times on the ticket to match the train you’re...
The Chelsea ones certainly were. Thomas Cook were their official travel partner, I think they also did PL away games. I think however Thomas Cook went bust a couple of years back!
