My son had a backpackers policy with Direct Travel and when he had a flight cancelled half way through his travels they refused to pay for overnight hotel accommadation because they said it only covered his flights out and back to UK. CHECK THE SMALL PRINT !! Very unhappy with this company.
In these days of bad customer service - what about this !!
Bought a sofabed from Ikea in Croyden which was delivered slightly damaged a week later. I rang to complain that day and they offered recompense if i wished to keep it.
Four days later my account was credited with 15% discount.
