Yesterday I thought I'd take a change from the hills of Clair so I took my first trip to Preston Park.
What a delight - lovely flat stretches to run on and the only hill of note is the short rise to the cafe. Ended up with 19:57 on the clock and didn't feel like I wanted to die at the end!

How about The Great South Run? It's in Southsea/Portsmouth & you get to run through the Royal Dockyard passing HMS Victory etc. It may be the week before Bright10 though. October seems a popular month to run 10 miles!
The influx of the juniors has been quite recent - impressive running from them as well.
I sometimes venture to Tilgate. It's a lovely course with the lake & the wide paths plus it's all downhill or flat after the halfway marker. Best time there is 19:57 - on our promotion day!!
