I'm a little perplexed by this build. Great to see a club back in their own backyard don't get me wrong, but has the build been properly planned?
Now, where that middle section sinks below the level of the stands beside it, can those people sitting there view both goals? Or am I missing...
Where did I see the quote from his agent then? The one saying his agent had a meeting with BHA yesterday? He had stressed Vicente's dissatisfaction with us using the second year clause and we'd reneged on a deal that we would not do that? I read it somewhere... I read too much, I get confused!
To be fair Acker, I don't know if it has been brought up in the thread (sure it has), but his agent is trying to negotiate a way out of him staying at Brighton for a second year, if the papers are right (yeah I know!).
I am neither for or against an argument here, I haven't read through the 16 pages (40 per page) and have just added on to the end, I have no idea if this is a bitchfest or not. I am neither for or against Vicente. I do believe we were right to trigger the second year, we nursed him through his...
Why shouldn't the club re-coup some money from someone that was allegedly washed up physically and mentally and was given the chance to shine again after our hard earned paid for him to get fit and get right in his head? I think the club has done absolutely what they should do and if Mr Vicente...
I'd love him back I just don't think we were a one man team as you rightly point out... I'll thank him for his flashes of brilliance and move on quite happily knowing we'll still be as good without him.
I'm merely playing devils advocate and I want Bloom to steer our ship forever! But your facts are still as much to do with trust. We are now a very sellable club and as said by Rugrat, if the ching ching of good wonger gets his money back and we are still trying to get Prem, he will take the...
How do you know that? You aren't basing anything on fact, if we became a prospect for profit to some Asian conglomerate, why would a business man not look at it? Not basing my scenario on fact either... just so many 'attractive' clubs are being bought out nowadays.
Like Man City? I think if the money was there ANY business man would look at the proposition, and our leagues are seemingly more owned by Asians, Americans and Russians... would a business man turn down a nailed on profit?
Leeds Utd, Nott'm Forest, Cardiff City, et al... do you think we'll always be safe from an Asian takeover? My spine shivers to think we get bought out by some Malaysian syndicate.
