I've just switched to a foreign VPN using Hola, where you can choose any country from North Korea to the Vatican City state for free!
It no longer works, so presumably the reverse will be true.
Wow, what a find - an hour on there certainly wouldn't be lost!
Here's a sample - the definition on this c.1901 footage is excellent. No need to sign up if invited to, just scroll down and click on the green 'watch for free' button...
Teletext was the generic term. The BBC's version of it was simplistically called Ceefax but I can't remember what ITV's was.
I forgot, we have the www now so, so much easier to find out!
Apparently it's a contrived acronym, "Optional Reception of Announcements by Coded Line Electronics".
But only a fraction of those will be logged in. Of the others, is there any way of estimating the proportion who are members but not logged in (maybe by logging the frequencies of the same IP addresses?)
I remember choosing a TV set in the mid-80s. Teletext was a must-have for me, and I'd only have one with the mix facility, so updating of live scores could be superimposed on to the program you were watching. Cheapest 20 inch colour set was £199.99, three weeks' take-home pay for me at the time :(
They let go a 0-3 lead in their last match (drawn), so maybe were in a false position. Looks like they're on the up now
They each play 12 games fewer than our second tier, so not even ¾ of a Championship season.
Another big home crowd for the visit of their giant neighbours, who only need a point to go top after six rounds.
Live coverage on the Dutch site. They were both subs the last match but Ostigard came on. St Pauli (a superb of Hamburg) are struggling near the bottom of Bundesliga 2.
