Whilst we are on the cusp of the Prem, and despite 97 and what happened then, do you really think it is big and hard to see a football league club in their own bad times? Did you learn nothing? Imbecile.
I think everyone had the right, even now, to not utter the P word. Many of us may have been confident but just know that saying anything is just going to put the kibosh on it. I think everyone will acknowledge everyone my friend. We are all one thing... #together
Where Germany and attacks are concerned, sadly, and I mean sadly, it shows the open door policy their Government adopted. To their credit, they let in many desperate people, to their detriment, they let in many unknown forces.
I remember sitting in my dads Austin Maxi in 1979 listening to the Newcastle v Brighton game on the radio. I was 15 so there was little alcohol involved, but I remember never being so excited over footy.
As much as us oldens can and will celebrate, I believe this one is for those that missed...
I was hoping Save A Prayer would be '83, sadly it was '82... so let's try this bad boy... (it may be on here I haven't checked)
For those of you that remember, Rose and Pose and Tirola Bar, Worthing.
The Berlin Wall fell.
9/11 happened.
There were two wars in Iraq.
Duran Duran were no longer the biggest band in the world.
Ant and Dec weren't even doing Byker Grove.
Tony Blair entered stage right and left stage left.
Northern Ireland was solved (nearly and hopefully).
And more I'm sure can...
!968 since they won. It's all rather tortuous for Ontarians, still have the most Stanley Cup wins in history but none in nearly 50 years. Where's Gretsky when you need him?
Go Leafs Go!
Quite amazing to see that top seven, of which possibly two you'd have betted on getting in the top six (Newcastle and Brighton). No Villa, Norwich or Derby, that would probably have been in most people's predictions.
