Oh I agree and there are still plenty of opportunities for businesses in the town with empty shops but the charity shops do bring people to the town centre who hopefully then use the proper shops.
A proactive approach seems alien to the ticket office, it always seems they wait for problems to crop up before they attempt to solve them rather than testing the system fully to pre-empt problems.
What was the problem with boxing day last year?
As far as the last day is concerned the antiquated "law" protecting 3pm-5pm on a Saturday should be changed, at least for the last day of the season, 3pm start for all matches
The shirt in question to a Preston fan is worth considerably more than a club shop bought one but to any other fan it is worth nothing. Although of course is not worth £1,500.
So a match worn shirt from a notable event in a clubs history isn't unique and worth the same as a shirt you can go into the club shop and purchase. I assume you say the same about first edition of historic books or the Mona Lisa.
Sooooo,
One player has lots of people after him, maybe we are one of them, but he hasn't made his mind up yet, what do we do kidnap his sister or something.
One player wants to stay in France, we are an English club, lets all move to France then.
One player has chosen to sign for a premier...
Its quite easy:
Star spangled Banner sung
Local celeb/prize winner throws a ball
Young child on big screen says "Play Ball"
1 team bats 1 team fields
1st innings or "top of the first" starts with a batter and a pitcher "bowler" who throws ball. If batter hits it he must run unless he hits it...
