So, what about when we play with no players on the posts, that's hardly protecting the keeper is it? And as someone already pointed out, he pushes players away from him. And, even if you're a 6'5 keeper, if you have Murray in your face you have players protecting you, I don't get your point.
I think we all know that, I think the OP needed a thread of his own and drew straws for which player to pick on. He got Ryan and realised there wasn't much to slag him off about, mind you he dragged a few with him, others desperate to blame anyone. It's the nature of the beast

I fear we could be arguing for equal thoughts here, I find it totally ridiculous that someone could start a Hughton Out thread. Anyone that even has the idea in their head should go support one of the other 18 Prem sides that change managers like babies nappies. I want a dynasty here, not a free...
I don't think anyone is in any doubt about that and probably weren't before today either. It is just the way we went about our business today, which rightly, throws so many doubts in so many heads. We haven't moved on or learnt from the Huddersfield game, which is worrying.
Although it is not mine to say and I don't have the experience of a professional manager, I have to say I was thinking something very much along these lines earlier.
I tell you what, when the gaffer has had enough, apply for the job, I think you could be our saviour. I can't thank you enough for your wise and obviously experienced knowledge.
