He did something like that up at Sheff Wed earlier in the season, sometime in the second half the ball was hit hard into our box Duffy took it on the head and the ball flew out for a throw in - that was the first time I thought - he will be a legend - and what is even better is he is six weeks...
Duffy is fast becoming one of my favourite players, love to see his passion and he isn't scared of anything. As Ashford and Simpson famously sung:
Shane Duffy's SOLID, solid as a rock
I would imagine firstly that in the middle of winter on a very wet pitch a motorised vehicle could struggle with grip and secondly a player would benefit more from initial treatment in a top of the range medical room at the Amex than in the back of an Ambulance outside the ground.
New service running today, empty trains from Eastbourne to Ashford as they only have a driver and not a guard so doesn't actually stop at any stations, nice and quick though I guess
As were Sheff Wed.
Still it doesn't matter too much what we think, I know the manager and the players will treat tomorrow the same as if we were playing Newcastle, which is the important thing.
Don't you just love Karma, although I really thought the hoodoo had returned with our sudden influx on injuries then the fluke of a equaliser, I was thinking if only it was another player when Hunt got stretchered off but then he wouldn't have been on the pitch to get his penalty saved.
Must admit I misread his user name to start with, thought it was a new advertising campaign, give bozza fifty quid and you can advertise nearly anything
