[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

Just for truths sake asylum seekers are not allowed to work while their claims are being considered.

[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

You are mixing up refugees and economic migrants. As you have been told several times the only way a refugee can claim asylum here is by being here already. There are no "legal routes. " Actually international law would suggest a refugee can never be illegal.

[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

You can't ask for asylum in UK unless you are already in the UK. The government closed the other routes some time ago.

[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

This is shameful. Is free speech only for right wing people now? In what universe is a sports commentator's view anything to do with BBC news impartiality? It's all right though for the chairman of the BBC to be a dyed in the wool Tory though? I begin to believe that the Tories want to shut down...

    [Albion] Fan advisory board

Hi Barry if you look at the Security for Palace thread you will see what others have said about the problems with the exiting the Palace game. I don't mind inconvenience but the collision of fans going in opposite directions was dangerous and we know the club apologised for it afterwards.

    [Albion] Security for Palace game

It's not a problem for you. The problem is those in the west stand who need to get to the coach park or park and ride buses. They will have to walk past the north stand then by the east stand just as easy standers will be going in the opposite direction if they want the train or the bridge car park.

[Albion] FA Cup quarter final v Grimsby Sun 19th March 2.15

Grimsby's a great story. Whilst we will want Albion to win well your fans and players have our respect for getting this far. I hope the fans enjoy the day without winning!

    [Albion] Security for Palace game

I see that once again we are all walking right round the stadium from west stand to coach park. I recall this as a recipe for chaos as we met east and north standers going for trains and the bridge car park. It seems to me that with the away supporters being held back anyway, it would be...

    [Football] The International Break

The cabinet's been empty since 1966! My point was a relative one. More successful than other England managers.

[Misc] Levelling Up Fund - £9.5 million for HOVE!!

Hove is by no means a marginal constituency. The labour majority in 2019 was 17000+. The Tories are deluded if they think it's winnerable.

    [Football] The International Break

This antipathy towards the man who is clearly the most successful England manager for many years is just getting pathetic now. We can all argue about particular picks but he hasn't done badly with those he has chosen. And frankly to ascribe the lack of Brighton players picked to his history with...

[Albion] Albion to launch matchday travel scheme review

Speaking as someone who often parks at the Bridge (albeit with a full car) I can see no possible justification for including parking in the travel scheme. It would be hugely costly and fly in the face of the whole aim of the scheme which is to encourage the use of public/shared transport.

    [Football] Chelsea or Fulham?

They were not just waved off- allegedly we received £20m+ in compensation. That's the difference.

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

The point is the agent was not just making his availability known - he wasn't actually available at all. The agent tried to force us to make him available through questionable tactics

[Albion] FA Cup fifth round - who do you want?

Sorry to say if you read their thread through there are several examples of homophobia.

    [Albion] Evan Ferguson

Please don't have Hove in with "the rest of Sussex. We have a good labour MP with a large majority who is a shadow minister for NI.

    [Albion] Upgrade FA Cup ticket.

I'm not actually sure you can upgrade a one off ticket after purchase? I guess you can try tomorrow and I hope it's ok so good luck.
