The link between commonwealth countries and (lack of ) LGBT rights is striking and another part of our colonial legacy to be carefully brushed under the carpet at every opportunity. That of course doesn't excuse the current ignorance and stubborn prejudice of those enacting these laws. Life for...
My key takeaways:
Barber can be surprisingly honest. Including about how much of a Spurs fan he is. Which is fine by me.
With Caicedo (and inferred other younger players as well) he is heavy on the idea that they don't always know what is best for themselves and agents 'have their own...
And a few on here gagging for someone to say it publicly so that they can be suitably outraged.
In reality of course you can argue over the sacking (I think it's harsh) but the footballing reasons are obvious enough and there's been plenty of harsher managerial sackings in this money driven...
I don't pay close attention but seem to recall it being said that his stats are as good or better than Mitomas were at this level?

- Fan culture in England is different...
And I choose not to go. For all those reasons (except location of women's toilets, which I am neutral on*). Plus of course, I'd be surrounded by home fans. Which I suspect would be horrible.

Heard a very shitty chant from our side a couple of times last night. Not homophobic and not illegal. Just classless and nasty. If you find it funny to sing about having a party when someone dies, then you really need to take a long hard look at yourself. Imo.
Said same on another thread. They showed fight and Viera showed a bit of courage and tactical nous which almost paid off.
Think they will be OK, unless that performance was a complete one-off.
They lost, which hurts. And relegation must be a genuine possibility from their position.
But if I was a Palace fan that game would have given me a bit of hope because, while they clearly lack quality, the players came out and showed real fight. Seemed like they were playing for their manager...
