50% success rate so far (four winners and three 2nd places), so not too bad.
There are few obvious favs that should win today (Devilment and paint the Clouds for instance), but my bets for today are:
Saffire Song (5.40 Kempton) - the horse is rated 57, and won this time last year off 58 and...
Due to my missus being a ceoliac I don't often have takeaway pizza, but I have been put off by the Domino's in Shoreham. Only bad reviews from anyone I know who has eaten there, and the price - woah!! But I saw that Tosca restaurant on Shoreham high street now do a delivery/takeaway service, and...
2 from 4 yesterday (and a second place also), so not too bad. A few fancies for today:
Surtee du Berlais (Wetherby 4.25) - promising 2nd on debut, neck behind a horse that went onto win a Listed race next time out, with the third then finishing 2nd in that same subsequent race. SdB then found...
Well done!! SP of 17/2, so there must of been some support. Apparently it was fourth and 15 lengths off the leader at the final flight!! At that point it was matched at 1,000/1 on Betfair!!
I dislike Monday racing as there are often some odd results (conspiracy!!), but I think there are a few interesting ones today at Wolves that I have had a bet on:
3.05 - Soluble - the only one of these with any fancy entries. have to take on trust that he is ready first time out though.
3.40 -...
I have only been the once, but it was amazing. We stayed in the Palazzo which is a (relatively) new hotel linked to the Venetian. It was excellent, and I would defo recommend.
My boss has been a number of times, and recently came back from a week staying in the Wynn which he thought was the...
I remember hearing that it is also much to do with the loss of 'Ancient Woodland', and also I think Arun Council have a planning policy about preserving the vistas around Arundel, this says "Development will not be permitted within the town of Arundel or beyond which would adversely affect the...
Is absolutely, 100% the correct answer. All you would have to do is serve a notice on the landowner to let them know you are applying for development on their land. Whether the owner will allow you to build on their land is not a concern of the decision makers (Council, Secretary of State etc)...
This. Really well done, and a nice story behind it too I think. The tune is by Cinematic Orchestra, and coupled with the footage, for some reason makes me a little bit emosh (as the kids would say)... Perhaps I am just a duff old sentimentalist...
Some great shouts already, e.g. Walk on the Wild Side, Sunshine of Your Love, For What Its Worth, and The Jam
Others for perusal are The Breeders 'Cannonball', King Biscuit Time 'I Walk the Earth', or for something far more obvious, 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac
Oooh I love the bass...
Ok to look at this another way (and taking the obvious practicalities of geography etc aside), in your dream scenario, which division would you be most excited to see the Albion playing in?? I think mine would still be the Premier League...
