There are big drifts here too on the Pennines etc. Many roads closed including the A66. But no, not as bad as Scotland yet. The 10 inches is in my back yard, so I hate to think how much has fallen higher up.
You can have some of ours if you like. 10 inches and still falling. Strong winds, snow drifting on the higher roads, black ice. Absolutely horrendous. No more thundersnow though. It is so bad, some locals are no longer wearing shorts.
My cousin in Kent is reporting a reading of -14 there this morning. And, unlike most men, I underestimated the inchage delivered up here - 7 inches so far. More expected tonight. Ooeer.
Ah, thanks very much for that. We have approx 4 inches of snow here (County Durham at the edge of the North Pennines) at the moment, with more on the way.
