A few years ago maybe. Championship games used to be better than most Premier League games but the quality has dropped of a cliff recently, some absolutely dreadful games last season.
All 3 title contenders in the Premier League lost on Saturday! Maybe just lets Middleton in? Still think it'll be Preston Nomads though as long as Sussex don't take too many of their stars.
A bit further down Bexhill have been making headlines with some absolutely massive wins (beat...
This season I've taken on one of Preston Nomads junior teams. It's an incredible place to be involved with, a very special setting, and hanging around to watch the first XI play after our games is a bit of a treat. They are some team this season.
Many years ago I used to play village cricket for Ashburnham and Laughton always used to be our toughest game of the season, one year I broke my nose over there running into a 12 year old boy's elbow after neither of us called for a catch :ROFLMAO:
Village cricket out that way seems to be on...
No he wasn't. I didn't get the love in on the last day either, the guys had millions out of the club and contributed very little. I'm actually amazed at 95 appearances, wonder how many of those were less than 10 minutes.
There needs to be a separate forum for July 2003 members!
I don't really notice any difference to be honest, if anything this is the one remaining decent online place to come and get an opinion or two compared to the absolute cess pit that is social media. There's been idiots come and go on...
To suggest there isn't a different way of policing travellers as opposed to other people is absolute nonsense. We recently had a bit of plant stolen, the local post office cctv captured it being driven past, followed by a transit pick up before turning into the local site. Absolutely no...
Going Skiing without actually Skiing. After the initial amazement at how stunning the scenery was, it soon became the longest week in history for those of us that weren't skiing. Criminally overpriced food and drink, a magnet for coked up nobheads wanting to fight once the sun goes down and the...
I cannot bear Arteta and after watching them last week I've got very little time for most of his players. White diving, Odegaard never being more than 5 yards away from the ref, Thomas Partey, they're a very dislikeable side.
As for Liverpool the media circus around them is laughable and Klopp...
Quick question, and it’s not for me if anyone from the club is watching! If someone was to send a screenshot of a ticket for a game, does this work at the turnstile? (Genuinely someone random has just asked me)
Haywards Heath vs Hassocks
Haywards Heath completed the double over Hassocks and in fairness have been the better side in both games, helped today by one of the softest penalties I’ve ever seen given to make it 2 nil and kill the game off. Can see Heath sneaking in the play offs at Hassocks...
I understand you used to have to validate a ticket before getting on a train over there. Is that still the case even with a ticket on my phone? Also for every train journey I have two tickets per person in my wallet, is this an Italian thing or do I need both?
Should be there Wednesday evening just before 7, I've allowed 3 hours to get from landing at Malpenza to get to Milan Centrale.
Long day travelling, drive to Stansted, flight to Milan, coach transfer, 3 1/2 hour train.
Just booked mine, Turin was cheapest so taking a 5 hour trip up there on Friday morning  No mention of a strike anywhere (booked with Omio) so will cross that bridge when I get there. Hoping the fact I chose the earlier train at 8.10 means it falls in the timeframe of essential...
