I'm on the right side of the north stand. I can hear basically what's going on in my block, but I don't really have any perception of what sounds are coming from other parts of the north, let alone other parts of the ground. Can here away fans sometimes, but not yesterday

My general comment to those not liking the atmosphere, is to throw the question back to them. What did you do to contribute?

Aren't the NSK just four blokes getting angry that football isn't like it was in the 70s? I can't say I've ever heard them.
I'd say the absolute opposite of that to be honest.

I think your version would probably create a better atmosphere though.

atmosphere was about normal (flat and quiet) in the first half. Was a decent level in the second half but nothing in comparison to Shef Wed, Palace, Chelsea etc etc.

It was dead first half, great second half. It almost seems as though if the team plays badly we're quiet and if we play well we're noisy. Who knew
Even Fab said (which interview, I can't remember) " we worked hard second half and got the crowd back onside..." or something

I watched the MOTD2 coverage then switched to the 30 min Sky highlights at 11pm last night, the commentary on one of them (can't remember which) remarked something along the lines of "when the crowd are happy at Brighton the atmosphere is good".

Last few minutes of the first half were so quiet, totally flat/dead atmosphere. To the point where up in West Upper I could hear a humming noise which was either coming from the PA system or the extractor fans from the catering units below.

Second half, quick start and early goal woke everyone up.

Speaking of the PA - can we talk about HOW LOUD it is. Don't wanna sound like an old fuddy duddy, but christ. Especially when people are talking. The nice chaps from the MH charity (few people needed it more at half time eh?) Were melting my face off.
