9 year old me was in the West behind our dugout and fair to say a little scared when things started kicking off

Maybe you got hit over the head with a baseball bat that day. o_O
No I was very very young :)

My dad used to take two bar stools in (seriously) and we stood behind the dug out looking over the top.

Chris Cattlin once put his hand through the tunnel fencing to the left and nicked my popcorn.

Almost sure I was there but very little recollection of the game. Wasn’t there a pitch invasion? I have always associated Spurs pitch invasion with the fences going up but can’t really remember. The Millwall pitch invasion stands out more because of the balaclavas but I think that was before Spurs.

I watched from the roof of the tea hut on the East Stand. The day I realised I was an Albion fan having arrived in Brighton in 75 unaware that Brighton even had a football team! Long distance Spurs fan since I was 8 when I moved to Brighton. Quite a bit of aggro I seem to remember
The infamous 'tea-hut' incident. Were you part of the Bosun lot. There were at least 10 Bosun (with many other NS regulars) on the tea-hut during the game fighting off the spurs fans trying to get at them. There was a photo of the incident a month or so back on another thread.

I was in the South Stand but from what I remember the Spurs fans broke down the fence in the North East corner and invaded the North. I think many Albion fans came onto the pitch to escape the violence

Nope, don’t recall that but we got some grief from pissed off Spurs fans once we went ahead. When I say East Stand I obviously meant terrace

Have you got a link to the photo? edit - seen it, think that’s the West Stand?

I did my best to avoid football aggro in the 70s and 80s but when Spurs fans invaded the North Stand I found myself involved whether I liked it or not. I remember decking a Spurs clown who came at me swinging wearing one of those daft Donny Osmand baker boy hats and a big gold earring; caught him right on the nose. A lot of people call it the good old days but I hated it...
