You’d do well to find football shirts in charity shops these days, not seen one in a charity shop for some time. I think the jig is up, either the shops/charity are wise to it and flog them on eBay themselves, or some cheeky scamps are infiltrating the organisations to grab them before they go on sale.
I did a volunteering day at a hospice charity collection place and asked them about football shirts. The guy there told me that they now work with someone who knows the value of football shirts and then sell them through the best place depending on the shirt. Not you is it?
Coming back from the Cottage last week, there was a big bunch of Italian students on the train and one had an oversized Albion Skint home shirt on. I wondered how he got it and how much it cost. My daughter has taken to wearing my 1996 Fulham away shirt. Apparently, da yoof call it 'blokecore'.
All these retro shirts always look so odd without the manufacturer on them.
Crazy how clubs (and England) sell 'fake' shirts... and then complain about fans buying fake current shirts from China.
