Yes, some nice passages of play from Albion but they lost possession too easily, too many times, and were fortunate to get away with 1-0. Still, as you say, there will be easier games to come.

True. Some good intentions, but the difference in class between the teams after the break was quite evident.
Albion never laid a glove on them 2nd half. That was a bit disappointing, especially as they needed just the one goal for a great result.

Let's remember this is their 2nd game of the season playing a new style with a significant number of players. They will take time to gel until they are more competitive against the best sides. Progress from last season is clear, it will only get better.

Huge step up everywhere from last season - particularly in defence. Great to see.

Enjoyed watching that,really impressed with the whole team,not just Dottie

A very enjoyable outing - my first women’s game. I think it was a creditable performance against a very strong team. I was impressed with Pattinson in the first half - she defended well and most of our best moves went through her.
we weren’t really in it in the second half - I can’t remember us having a shot.
I hope we get a proper ground for the women in Brighton.
