Here and There
Every morning if going into the office, but mostly WFH these days, so 2-3 times week.

Every two days, Hair once a week. Over washing can remove the natural protections of skin and hair, damaging them and making them look more aged. Its why nerds who never wash look so much younger.
Was it rebellion against your name, anti-normative determinism

Always twice a day. It comes from my time in SE Asia, where at least twice a day is the norm.

The only exception to this is when I was running a Palace pub in Croydon...I used to shower 4 times a day as I always felt dirty!

Never understood the appeal of a bath, stewing in your own filth!
It relaxes the muscles especially with Radox (perfumed Epsom Salts) in lovely warm water, reading a book.

We didn’t have the choice growing up as showers didn’t become readily available until the 70s.

That’s good to know because I’m thinking of doing that in the spring but was worried it would devalue/or make it more difficult to sell my property.

Guess only people with young kids need baths these days?
I haven't had a bath in the house for 35 years. The walk-in shower under a Velux is a thing of beauty.

(Crodo is extremely weird, by the way. Just thought I'd mention that).

Twice a day. Always once as soon as I get up, but also sometimes as soon as I get home from work. I come into close contact with some right mingers at work, and it's not fair on my family if I transfer that onto them. I once went home with liquid dead body juice on the bottom of my boots 🤢

My son showers before he goes to the track or the gym and then again when he comes back…. I do occasionally mention I can’t see why.
There are few reasons.

To remove sweat and grease from pores so skin can breathe more easily during exercise.

To remove dirt and grim that might pour into eyes or stain gym clothes when sweating occurs during exercise.

To prevent chafing if undergarments are moist and clinging to the skin.

To look and feel presentable in front of peers and for gym selfies if trying to impress others.
