This requires a big spreadsheet and a defined scoring system covering a wide range of criteria.

I can’t be arsed. Would probably end up broadly equal between several grounds due to various plusses and minuses, but not Selhurst, Goodison, OT or West Ham which have virtually no redeeming features
View, Atmosphere (how do you measure) , food (quality/price), Drink(quality/price), food outside , drink outside, police/stewarding, toilets for starters

Palace & Everton - classic old grounds selling ice cold and so tasteless lager (no beer) in winter. In both cases I actually put my pint down and left it... View was actually the less of an issue for me.

My favourite trip last year (twice) was Brammall lane , found a great pub 5 mins away....

Travel, trains (or parking), ease of getting away after, chances of your car being in one piece, food outside the ground…….it’s sooooo complicated. Still can’t be arsed

Love Fulham, that stroll through Bishop's Park and the river close by. Not great for atmosphere though.

Newcastle has a fantastic location but the view is abysmal.

I quite like Wolve: near the city centre, decent way view and reasonable buzz around the place.Probably top has to be Anfield. A bit of a walk, but not for miles. Decent pubs around, not bad view for away fans and a great atmosphere

Which Prem stadium do you think offers the best all round experience? This includes things like location, travel (to and from), design, atmosphere, fans and food.

Where do you The Amex ranks out of the 20?
I’ve deliberately not yet read the other responses. For me, without any doubt, Anfield is the best experience available to the travelling football fan. Mind you, I’m a traditionalist and enjoy the atmosphere and setting of a stadium, the local pubs, the friendliness of the town, the general vibe. Someone who travels with a family group and puts more value on comfort, food, access to transport etc may well have a different view. So the important caveat is what is important to you?

As for the Amex, the seats are comfortable and the views of the pitch are excellent (I’ve sat pretty much everywhere). But it’s let down massively by the transport and queues for food inside. Again, someone who lives locally and never buys food in the stadium won’t care about these things. Also, the atmosphere is a bit, well, mild. I still enjoy going there of course, especially since usually using Seagull Travel but that does cost quite a lot and means I can’t hang around for a pint after the game.

The dull part of the south coast
I quite like Old Trafford. Easy to get to buy tram, train, taxi etc. there's even quite a bit of parking close-by.

It's a massive stadium and the atmosphere in there can be quite something sometimes. When I'm there I often think about those who have played on that pitch and walked down the tunnel, and it's some list of players. Some absolute legends. The history of the place can't be matched by any other stadium in the top flight perhaps except A field?

It's in a residential area, you walk down terraced streets to the ground etc. If you compare that to Man City for example, it was just built on barren wasteland.

We've also had some good memories there recently from an Albion perspective.
It looks impressive from outside but once you go through the turnstiles - yuk! Dark, dank and dismal concourse. As for the seats? Well, I can only relate what happened two seasons ago when we won 2-1 in the first match of the season. I went up to OT with my grandson. Found the relevant block and row and . . . . no seats! Vaporised, disappeared, non-existent. Our tickets clearly stated Block A, Row X Seats 51/52. Found seat 50 then a small gap then seat 53. Just as well away fans stand then. By the way my specific detail of Block/Row/Seats was a literal licence - but you get my drift.

It’s a pain to get to but the new Spurs ground is very good imo

I like BOTH grounds in Liverpool tbf - I got an upstairs seat near the front at Goodison this year and it was a great view!

I like Wolves and Newcastle for their city centre location - Newcastle is really good access to the airport too.

It‘s a while since I’ve been to Forest but home support usually noisy which is good. I’m often at Villa away who also have good singing but we rarely have a good result!

Amex seats the most comfortable

Ive really enjoyed going to the Emirates since weve been in the Prem and last few visits the atmosphere has been much better overall. Easy transport in and out, comfortable, decent beer, and food is ok.

I had an almost identical experience at the Wankdorf in Bern.
