[Albion] Anyone tried 'The Dugout' seats yet???

I've noticed that seats are now sometimes available on a game by game basis (£190 for Forest game) so wondered if anyone who has tried it can expand on the experience for me;

Does it include food and drink ? or do you have to pay

I take it it's not like Man City & Tottenham's tunnel club where you can watch the players line up in the tunnel pre walkout, or is it?

I presume you have access to one of our executive lounges? if so which one?

and lastly, was it good?

Thanks Bozza, that was a decent watch but I think its different from 'The Dugout' package as tickets are only £190 rather than the £500+ mentioned on this video.

This does answer the question about the glass wall to the tunnel to see the players line up, as that clearly won't be available in 'the dugout' package then

A mate of mine went and from the drunken messages I received

- reckoned it was the best hospitality he has done (and he's done a few)
- food and drink were included. A cup of sick and something that looks like a vagina are part of the drinks package looking at the photos
- the players are just the other side of the glass to your right I think but security is everywhere for obvious reasons. If it kicked off you'd get a ring side seat.
- seating is in amongst the press.

My brother got hold of some seats for the Ipswich game (for my dad's 80th), and it was really good (apart from the result). You get a small bar at the back of the West Lower, a buffet meal (curry on Saturday, which was excellent), a complimentary halftime pint, free sweets, and cheese and biscuits after the game. The seats were right by the tunnel, and tight behind the dugouts, so you can hear the grief the fourth official gets from the coaching staff. If I could afford £190/game, I'd be tempted. The only gripe I can find is having to use the normal toilets in the West Lower (with the commoners).

Btw, my aunt came too - she hadn't been since she was 8. She's well into her seventies now

I believe the glass can be frosted at the flick of a switch meaning if anything kicked off you’d maybe see a second or two before the button was pushed.

So for £190 it doesn't really sound that good value, as you could buy a seat just behind in W1DH (directors box area) with access to mayo wynne baxter lounge for £120. Admittedly it comes with no free food or drink but it is £70 cheaper and arguably, provides an even better view.

I guess so, and you'd have to get through a lot of cheese, biscuits and buffet curry to make up the £70.

It did include pops, naans and rice, and you could go back for seconds. But still...

Seriously though, this marketing approach - £190 and you get a 'free' thing which normally costs about a fiver. It is similar to my wife's approach to 'saving' money by spending even more of it.......

The Dugout is really West Stand Plus. The Tunnel Club is comparable to the best lounges.

You do realise that it is years of shite like 'the dugout' which has diluted that atmosphere? At the top level probably beyond repair.
