Yep just loved that series when l was growing up.

Had a secret crush on Annette Andre who played Jeanie, if l'm absolutely honest.

R.I.P.Marty. This time though you really won't be coming back

The stars of the 70s are starting to go due to age rather than illness, once that hits the 80s stars then I'm worried!!

He wrote the TV series "Striker" in the md-seventies, though he didn't appear as an actor. I've often tried to chase up a copy of those series, but it doesn't seem to exist in the public domain, at least.

My dad was 93 when he was told he had prostate cancer. The GP said 'oh well, you've had a good innings'. My dad replied 'bugger that, I wasn't planning on going anywhere'. And he didn't for another 4 years.
