The Infinite Improbability Drive was a wonderful new method of crossing interstellar distances in a mere nothingth of a second, without "tedious mucking about in hyperspace."Ironically then, you must believe that there's 0 chance there's an event that has 0 probability.
QED.
It was discovered by lucky chance and then developed into a governable form of propulsion by the Galactic Government's research centre on Damogran. As soon as the drive reaches infinite Improbability, it passes through every conceivable point in every conceivable universe simultaneously. An incredible range of highly improbable things can happen due to these effects.
It was installed on the Starship Heart of Gold, and both the ship and the drive were unveiled by then-President of the Galaxy Zaphod Beeblebrox.

The other one I like to ask is where all the pictures are of someone calling off the edge of the Earth. Surely, if it’s flat, there’s an end point right? If there’s an end point, what happens there? What does it look like? Where are the pictures of it?
And most importantly, where’s the video of someone going off that end point and then going to the underside of the Earth? And what does the under side of the Earth look like?

If it was a disc, you would get elliptical shadows most of the time with a lunar eclipse, but we see a circular shadow every time, from anywhere on earth.

As the sun rises always in the east and is visible for longer or shorter periods of time as you move north or south, it proves the earth is spherical.
Try and imagine how you would achieve a long period of daylight in the north at the same time as a short period of daylight in the south with a flat disc.

Not sure that's right as the moon and sun gravitational pull are continuously changing as Earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits Earth.
The bulge on Earth's equator is caused by centrifugal force acting against Earth's own gravity as the equator is spinning at ~1000 MPH
You are right! The earth is 42km wider than it is tall, it’s centrifugal force. Got that one wrong. I can only find about a 20cm affect from Gravity.
The tidal effect of Jupiter on its moon Io causes all the volcanos there, and is apparently strong enough to produce variations in height up to 100m.

It is of serious concern that, after centuries of scientific discovery and evidence, there are still people out there who have been through an education system that still come up with barking ideas!!
I had a really confusing conversation with a flat earther and his sole rationale for believing it was that he insisted all pictures of the earth were made up of composites of pictures of the earth. Ie digital recreations of seperate images not one singular picture.
We seemed to diverge off onto two different tangents. Him trying to assert that that fact was true and me trying to understand why, even if it was true (which I have no idea about) it would automatically prove the earth is flat?
In the end I said something like ' if you take loads or pictures of a football, then reassemble them to make one picture of the football, the thing you took a picture of was still a football right?'
He just looked at me like a dog who'd been shown a card trick and we both agreed to leave it as we weren't getting anywhere.
We were both punch drunk. And drunk. I feel sorry for the people sitting next to us to be honest. Basketmakers Arms.

It must be flat I was playing pool and racked the balls up on the table and when I took the triangle away they remained perfectly still...surely IF the earth was spherical the balls would have started rolling off in the direction of the earth's curvature.

If the earth was not rotating, that would be the case. As it's whizzing round, the balls are also whizzing round...so remain still.
However, when I play pool...the balls follow their own path when I hit them
