Plenty of people have dissappeared without a trace, how do you know they haven't?

Father-in-law is apparently a flat earther, but then was also spouting off about how he wouldn't get vaccinated due to worries about being tracked.

Which he would express his concerns about while using a smart phone.

they have, many times, it’s just that once they’ve gone over the edge they cannot get back to tell anybody about their falling.

I don't know why people put so much effort into not just believing, but preaching to others, that the earth is flat. It might be - but there's A HUGE probability that it's not - but what difference does it really make? Most people don't travel far enough to see if it is or isn't, so :shrug:

A question I often ask flat earthers is "If the world is flat, then how can a Jet/Airplane be flown in the same direction and eventually arrive back at the same place it took off from?" I have yet to have an answer. Maybe some of the believers here can shed a bit of light on it.

Also the stars in the southern hemisphere.

In reality three people in the Southern Hemisphere, one in Argentina, one in South Africa and one in Australia could feasibly see the Southern Cross at the same time if they were far south enough.

This is impossible on a flat earth, and they have literally no way to explain it.

They can't and they don't. No airplane has ever done that.


I would ask them to show me a map of the world. I would then highlight the inconsistencies to them - for example a map that shows Australia and South America at opposite ends of a flat world, where a flight would have to go over the UK, yet the flight takes half the time of a flight from Australia to the UK.

I would also ask them why they support Trump
