It would appear Mr Bloom had a media day and it can come as no surprise that all the interviewers asked similar questions and that he then gave similar answers.
Doesn't suit anyone with an agenda against particular journalists of course.
Yes it appears that he spoke to a few different media outlets about exactly the same things. There's literally nothing you can learn from The Athletic that isn't covered in free media. So why pay for information that you not only already have but has, in fact, been summarised here on another thread?

I'm not always adverse to paying for quality content. Journalists and writers have to eat too. I was probably one of many online sports fans, who always said they'd pay for real quality, that The Athletic was targeting.Why pay for it anyway ? Plenty of paywall avoiders available online
Unfortunately, they then hired Andy Naylor whose writing could put a glass eye to sleep.

We have the definitive answer now don't we even those invoved have a different answer - Bloom thinks De Zerbi was sacked and De Zerbi thinks he left by mutual consent because the club wouldn't bow to his 'superior' knowledge and plans. Bloom is so clever he sacked De Zerbi without De Zerbi even knowing he'd been sacked so it's no wonder we don't know

I dont subscribe to the Athletic myself. However I imagine there are non-Brighton fans on there who won't have poured over the club's videos and podcasts at any point so that article may have been news and very interesting to them.
I picture fans of little clubs like Leeds or Wednesday, who dream of one day replicating the Bloom Model, enraptured by Mr Naylor's words.
The narrative about the Fati and Dahoud signings is what I can’t get my head around. If the club’s philosophy is that they identify the players and the coach plays them, why did they agree to those (allegedly) RDZ signings? We all know u don’t mess with TB, so why didn’t the club say to RDZ “no, we’re not signing your crap suggestions - u know the rules!”?

Dunno. Maybe he insisted and perhaps they weren't that far off data-wise, so they probably came to an agreement. Didn't work out well, did it? In Tony we trust!

Yeah maybe. Fati tho…? On that amount of wages per week? If that is the case, it’s a harsh lesson learned and not one I’d expect TB to have to learn the hard way!

Well, on a recent Athletic podcast covering the Albion (I listened/watched off youtube; warning, the same advert is repeated about 10x through it), one of the points they made is that our signings in the summer of 2023 targeted European experience -- we had very little going into that summer. Hence, Igor, Dahoud and -- recall, just on a one year loan -- Fati.

Perhaps Fati did fit 'the system' but was a rare example of it not working. It was clear he wasn't fit.
He was pissed off at the time of signing his. !!
I always remember the interview when everyone else was excited and he said through gritted teeth that fati was 'very expensive '
