Most I've ever paid was £70 for a single ticket (Neil Young solo acoustic show where we actually sat next to Oasis) and a Glastonbury ticket when they were about £200 (I worked there, thereafter). I won't pay silly money for a gig ticket nowadays, I 'd rather buy their whole back catalogue on CD. .
At the other end of the spectrum back when eBay didn't auto correct spelling in item titles I bought:
- 2x tickets for Primla Scream at the Dome for 99p each.
- 2x tickets for Steve Wonder at the O2 for £29ish if I recall.
- Latude Festival ticket for £40.
- Roling Stones at Twickenham for £15.
*can't remember the exact spelling but there were errors in the title that meant they didn't show up on normal eBay search and I was the only bidder.

I remember Bowie's Glass Spider tour in 1987, he played Maine Road, originally putting one night on which naturally sold out in minutes, so they put a second night on, it effectively killed any touting for the second date, an impressive set of support, Terence Trent D'arby and Alison Moyet meant most people who had a ticket were in fairly early, so it was reported in the local media that by the time Bowie was due to enter the arena on a Spider themed crane, the hapless touts were basically giving tickets away for anything between a £1-£5.

I will go and see gigs but weirdly I lost my passion for music about ten years ago.

I'm not sure I'd want to pay silly money because I'd be scared the ticket would be cancelled or is a fake.

Not proud, around £120 pp including a meal for Rod Stewart at the Amex. My wife pressurised me big time to book it and it was the biggest clusterfuck in my Amex attendance history to get away and home after the game too. Yes that fecking bad and I didn’t even enjoy the concert, the food was OK though.
Best part of the night was the coked up guy in our row running up and down and singing and dancing along. Hilarious how irritated everyone got.

My hard limit for a ticket is £100.
never paid that, got close to it with Rammstein and AC/DC being in the £80-odd region, and cant think of an artist that i'd go north of a hundred for without some kind of extra nonsense tacked on - soundcheck, meet the band, free pints for an hour, that sort of thing. Festivals ofc i'll pay more, cos its a weekend - i've just dropped £400 on a VIP ticket for Bloodstock, cos i normally volunteer at festivals and havnt gone as a punter for years now - i'd like the showers, the posh bar and the quieter camping cos they're basically my standard nowadays. The only artist i'm dying to see that i havnt yet would be Neil Young, and he doesnt often play over here, so that might get me narrowly above £100, but i'd definitely not be going to f***ing £350 or anything utterly daft like that. Would rather go to a whole pile of concerts at £25 than one at ten times the price. If thats what people want to spend their money on then good on them, but that would not be me.

Probably the Stones at Hyde park, a few years ago. Pre-gig food and drinks at some poncy hotel near Hyde Park ( I must say, the food was exquisite), the Grandstand (not the best view at all) but free hospitality area/drinks near the stage and a night in a hotel a few mins walk away, afterwards.
About £1500 for the 2 of us - would I do it again?
