What a man this is. Just tearing down all the taboos and whispering on this subject, making it infinitely easier for (at least) Dutch people to talk about it openly. Bit like this thread, tbf.

Posting translation taken from comments on video:

"For anyone wondering what else is being sad and to continue from the title: The interviewer asked if it has always been like that or only since the diagnosis (not being able to make love) Louis says that is always the case when you are being diagnosed with prostate cancer. The interviewer noticed he is very open about this and ask why that is. Louis says that he always has been an open person and says he is open about his illness to support other people who suffer from this, and to show them that life doesn't end here and that you can move forward. He says it can happen to anyone, so also to people like him. He continues again that he is very open and that he always says what he feels and what he thinks."

Hi everyone, thought this might be a suitable thread to piggy-back on. I'm running a 10 k next month in London, to raise funds for my employer as they continue to research and trial new treatments.

The annual run is in honour of a Canadian athlete who lost his leg as a result of bone cancer in 1980. He died before he could complete his marathon trek across his homeland.

With half a billion pounds donated since the event started, anything you can give, just a couple of quid, can make a genuine and significant difference. You may also like to share with others. Wishing all those going through tough times the very best (hollow words, but it's hard to know what to say). Thanks for reading.

138,500 names have added to a petition, which was handed to 10 Downing Street today, to ask the government to push for prostate cancer screening.

Prostate Cancer have another campaign....
Proactive For Your Prostate
where you can email your local MP and push for the screening to be looked at.
There is a template email that you can send and an insert where you can add your own story.
I've done it, so please have a go yourself if you can 👍
