Those were the daysAll part of football supporters’ rich tapestry of being at the game. In my yoof it was bog roll streamers and bobble hats - and not a replica shirt in sight.

One of Potter's last games away to Fulham was the worst I've been to. 5 lads in 20's standing in front of us totally out of it no booze and a couple on the best Bolivian marching powder. They barely watched the game but preferred throwing all sorts insults and gestures towards the nearby home fans who were mainly families and thereby were were never going to give it back. It was embarrassing

Is this the worst in the PL or worst ever you have experienced? Because I can guarantee pissed blokes shouting insults was nothing compared to the 80’s shenanigans.
I’ve literally had to run for my life at one away game could have been Bristol Rovers, another time dodging hails of glass bottles at Plymouth & West Brom. Personally I wish they had just shouted abuse through a fence.
Many other dodgy situations as a teenager following the Albion away.

One thing I will say about Ronald is that he has an incredibly steady hand. If it was me zoomed into the far end it would just be an totally shaky out of focus mess.

I'll never understand it. When we scored yesterday the fella a couple of rows down spent the whole time turned round giving all the gestures (slit throat, come outside etc) to the fella above us on the upper tier. I don't think he saw any of the celebrations on the pitch and certainly wasn't enjoying the moment as everyone else was. I find it utterly peculiar behaviour, I managed to be oblivious that there even were Arsenal fans up there until that moment.
That's probably the camera doing that rather than the steadiest hand going.

There was a fella in front of me on Saturday who spent a lot of the game making wanker signs at the Arsenal fans.....at least I think it was a wanker sign. He looked more like he was revving an imaginary motorbike than pulling his (or someone elses) pud.
Quite disturbing to see how some people have developed their technique, and don't have the wherewithal to look around and see what everyone else thinks is normal.
One of the lads near me looked like he was dealing cards.
