Welbeck, while playing a different role and offering more in build up play and for the team, only managed 5 goals in 29 appearances, nearly all starts.

I always felt Maupay would have done well under De Zerbi, nice to see if my hunch was right..... or not.

We’re they wearing some kind of special edition shirt as it seems strange that the sponsors logo and player names were almost invisible?

125th Anniversary shirt - assume it was a one off as yesterday was the home game nearest to the date (31st August).
