The question then is why does the PL? Or when the accounts are submitted, will it allow those sham deals to deal effective for PSR purposes?

Because the Premier League is nothing more (or less) than its 20 member clubs. It can decide to implement anything - as long as at least 14 of its members vote for it.

It won't!
He was signed in 2021 for 97.5million on a 5-year contract. So, his amortised value on Chelsea's books will now be 39million.
If they sell him for 30m they'll have to book a 9million loss (unless, of course, they had previously written off a portion of his value).

Good. Hope he absolutely hates it there. The more players that learn that making the move straight to a club like them rather than coming to a club like us to learn and develop first, the better.

They will get around this though by re-selling their hotel back to the other company again. Then sell it back next season to their other company. So it goes on.
