Do you think she is coaching Crawley ladies to deliberately injure players in rival teams? Her ill-judged tweet would suggest so.

She has removed the Crawley Town coach bit from her X bio, and her LinkedIn account is mysteriously no longer accessible.
Unfortunately for Beth, the horse has long since bolted.
I'm not one to join the virtual pile-on, but there are a lot of people who want some action after that very ill-judged tweet.

The only thing I'd say in Beth's defence is that she's only 19 - and at that age we all do stupid stuff. But as a senior women's player and a community foundation coach, I don't understand what she was thinking by posting that (and doubling down with a follow up tweet). She has now deleted it and the Crawley coach reference from her bio, but it would be good if she actually apologised.

Quite so.
At the risk of over-thinking, I see a potential danger for us here of the narrative being conveniently switched to false accusations of online misogyny and 'hounded off the internet' to avoid individual blame.
Media outlets have a reputation for avoiding context and nuance for the sake of controversy and headlines, e.g. BAME managers after Hughton was sacked.
Let's continue to play the ball - the tweet concerned - rather than the man, or in this case woman. Losing the moral high ground with mere insults would be a bad trade for us.
Social media is still media. She should be held to account for what she posted, regardless of whether it's been since deleted or not through fear or regret.
Action should be taken.

Social media blunders are laying waste to so many people's careers in football. All they had to do was think first, and then tweet/post (or not) a bit later.
But as you say, the horse has bolted, and is standing in a field in the next county.

This young lady didn’t make the tackle; she isn’t responsible for the injury and she has obviously realised that she has made a mistake and deleted her tweet.
The victimisation of her is very strange. Is it because she is a woman that people are upset about. I’m sure there may have been plenty of tweets that upset people, from males, that haven’t been highlighted.
As I said, she has deleted the tweet. Do people really think she should lose her job because of one comment? If you are honest you hear (and dare I say, have said yourself) stuff that offends opposition fans every week.

Had you considered that for Brighton fans, this wasn't a particularly interesting game?
Tickets were reduced to £15 to fill the ground and most of us were there mainly to take a look at our second string. It was a bonus that we were going to get to see one of the new signings, but that didn't last long. It's fairly ridiculous to expect a hostile atmosphere for a midweek game against a traditionally non-league local team that the Albion have no history with. I guess that 'middle class vibe' is intended to mean that the ground wasn't full of drunk blokes. There seemed to be quite a lot of families there for an evening game, presumably because the reduced prices and summer holidays made this possible. Crawley fans seem to have arrived expecting, possibly hoping, to be treated like an invasion of Millwall hordes. There was quite a lot of posturing that was met with puzzlement more than aggression. We didn't join in the panto. If that's what you define as middle class, then guilty as charged.
I can't make my mind up whether Williams' challenge was so bad because the ball was moved more quickly than he is capable of dealing with, whether it was the result of him being hyped up to stick in a reducer at the start of a big game or a combination of the two. Crawley fans seem to be overly hyped for a game that was always going to be out of their team's reach, turning out in numbers larger than were in their home ground for the opening game of the season, so perhaps the atmosphere got to him.
In terms of the game, Crawley fans were were singing the usual about the opponent's support being 'f'ng sht', if we weren't too 'middle class' to retort, the same could have been sung about the Crawley strikers. Tactically you were fine, moved the ball into attacking spaces and dominated possession, but as the game went on, it did seem more and more like Arthur's fight with the Black Knight in 'Monty Python & the Holy Grail', pointless aggression from an already decimated opponent. Crawley's manager seemed overly proud of his team given that they hardly made a decent chance, lost 4-0 and could have conceded more (would have done if the ref had given the straight red for the correct tackle). All in all, although I usually think the phrase smacks of elitism, the actions of Crawley fans, players and coaches just seem to beg for the classic old response, 'You've had your cup final, now f_ off.'

We do stupid stuff at that age but we also faced the consequences of being stupid, which is how we grew up.
Maybe. But we, and the others you refer to, aren't connected to, and partly employed by the club concerned.

As a woman, I say, yes, she should be fined or even lose her job.
Doing wrong is not a ‘mistake’, it is a decision. She should apologise at the very least. She’s supposed to be a role model as a community coach.

Just seen the Williams GBH incident on MOR. The ball was about 10 yards away at contact. Straight red and some. A quite awful orchestrated piece of skull thuggery, May they get relegated again and again.
