Thank you in advance, I have a close relative who is struggling massively with anxiety and depression. He was recently sectioned for his own safety, but left due to the conditions at the facility and his perception of support. I need to quickly find him someone who can help him. He is on a concotion of medication and none of it seems very helpful. This has been going on for months and I genuinely fear for his sanity and safety. The GPs don't know what to do and there seems to be a shortage of mental health support. Open to any and all suggestions. He resides in BN2.

Call 101 or 999 if you think he is a danger to himself or others.

Outside of what @ManOfSussex said, which is great advice - have you attempted using the MHRSS? Based out of Mill View.

I’m not sure whether AOTs are still a thing anymore, but that might be worth looking into too.

Worked in Mental Health for several years, but at my hospital the majority of the patients were on MoJ sections and didn’t come directly from the public. As @AmexRuislip mentioned @The Clamp will hopefully have some good input for you.
