On behalf of those scoring zero points on the Everton game, could I suggest that you start this season’s competition with the Arsenal game?
It seems only fair because;
A) You’ve been otherwise tied up recently and you could do with a break (aka the ‘licker’ reason)
B) Those scoring zero on Everton far outnumber those scoring a point. Democracy demands you do what we say (aka the ‘false equivalency’ reason)
Careful observers may ponder why the United game seems to have been overlooked. There is a reason for this. Let’s call it the ‘if I don’t talk about it perhaps they’ll forget about it’ reason; often shortened to the ‘Paxman/Howard’ reason, which worked out so well for Howard.

Yep, while I was one of the many who got this week’s result right, I know:
a) you took this over after a spectacular flounce by the original maintainer who couldn’t handle a world in which not everybody agreed with them.
And
b) the real world outside this little oasis of (relative) sanity and relief hasn’t stopped, and I think has been particularly challenging to navigate recently.
Whatever you decide to do, is fine by me, and I suspect a majority on here.
