referring to: Van Hecke explains the detailed way the club went about signing him from NAC Breda in 2020. “Maybe, for me, the plan was perfect,” he says. “I remember when I was 18, they said to me: ‘First to the Dutch league, then to the Championship, then one year in the Premier League to adapt, and then being a player for us regularly starting.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, nice story, bro. How can you plan in four years?’ But to be fair, it worked out.”

Love this kid. Quality player, great character.

We really have managed him superbly, his improvement has been dramatic. Nailed on captain after Dunk for me, as long as we can keep hold of him!

That’s one of the best Albion related pieces I’ve read, a must. Lots of insights into how the club works too and JPVH comes across as a good person.

Look forward to seeing this lot. The club must’ve made made room to accommodate them all on the day.
