I may have already posted it, but The late great Gianluca Vialli oozed more class than most clubs ever could or have.

Dyche is a bit patchy. His comments on Saturday proved that.

Also, I get the superficial love of Tim Cahill as a player but his role as a member of the Qatar World Cup’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy turned me off him very quickly (as it did for a lot of Aussies)

I quite like Sean Dyche. He’s a horrible manager for your team to play against, but that’s what you want, isn’t it?

He seems to like a laugh in pressers, but the main reason that I will never not like him is for the way his Burnley team played in their last game of 13-14. They were already promoted and it was a meaningless fixture for them. However, even with Reading aware that Ulla has scored a winner at Forest, Burnley still put everything into defending as if they needed a point.

And who can forget the subsequent pitch invasion following the misinformation that Forest had made it 2-2? 🤣

Le Tissier got bored during lockdown and in May 2020 started sharing things he didn't understand. Social media and minor celebrity being what it is the more 'controversial ' stuff got more likes and shares and the positive feedback loop kicked in. He started to feel important and fed more into.the bullshit machine that was giving him a growing audience.

Three months later he'd expanded his areas of expertise and thought it was a good idea that he'd share his beliefs that the death of civilians in Ukraine was fake for some reason or other. Sky sacked him, Saints told him that they weren't going to have him back for club events.

Fortunately for him there were loads of people online who told him that he was a freedom of speech hero ... which he liked. And then he just got weirder and madder.

Dyche the manager isn't the same as Dyche the bloke - ask @Not Andy Naylor.

He's amusing, likes decent music and quite polite. He's a pragmatist as a manager which doesn't lend itself to champagne football, but still a good egg. If he ever becomes a pundit everyone will love him.

Roy Keane is someone that's really grown on me over the last few years. I love that he's not afraid to show that his utter contempt and disgust at the mediocrity of many of the players that have represented Man Utd over the past few seasons.

I do sort of agree, but I find it difficult to forgive that Haaland (the dad) tackle.

A friend of mine had contact with Roy Keane via his work; Keane‘s kids wanted to meet an artist my friend was tour managing. He met Keane and family and said he was a genuinely nice guy, great fun. He also said there‘s lots of pantomime with him….but this is part of the fun.

I grew to like Simon Jordan for his honesty, insight etc but over recent times, as he becomes less and less relevant football wise, he's started becoming more bad mannered, vitriolic and nasty to others, people often more insightful and 'in the know' than he now is.
So once again I think he's a ****. And that makes me happy. Things are right again.

I only listen occasionally when there’s something dramatic or melodramatic happening eg Manure in crisis or a big sacking. He definitely has the James O’Brien (I like him) about him ….. in his mind an ‘expert’ on literally everything, unwilling to listen. Sometimes it’s just the trick on unfashionable views eg he takes on PFA or LMA spokesmen or Troy Townsend when they lectured on stuff.
