Everton were a handful in the first half but we soon took control. Great win with intelligent use of subs. Thought Webster looked great when he came on. I have a feeling we’ll see more of him this season.

Crap first 20 minutes but the remainder of the game was class.

Everton looked very poor at times, a bit too fixated on the long diagonal out to Harrison who invariably wasted the crossing opportunities. Pickford and his little arms aided goals two and three.
Always going to be hamstrung with Pickford in goal; a ‘keeper with normal length arms would have definitely saved the second.

Friends

I missed coverage of the whole game. Delighted with the result.

Can someone give me a quick summary

What formation was it?
Who played left back?
Who was better than expected?
Did anyone struggle?

Cheers

Wieffer actually impressed me. Few stray passes but he’ll pick up the pace. He does strike me as the kind of strong niggly player the numpties of NSC won’t see the value of though. The Dale Stephens effect.
I thought he had a really poor game - seemed to be trying too hard and as a result his passing was woeful. Hopefully just a case of settling in though. Edit - maybe I'm one of those numpties.
