Not sure what prompted the reincarnation of this old thread, but either way I wouldn't say I'm offended by people like Jimmy Carr or Reginald Hunter, I just don't find them funny. I find it cringeworthy they have to push the envelope to find humour. I actually used to find Reginald pretty funny on Have I got News for you and some of those shows where he can't use foul language or use the borderline cringey stuff...so not sure really why he does it to be fair as he doesn't need to he used to be funny without it...Jimmy Carr on the other hand, just can't watch him at all, cringe central in what he says and his deliver, which he won't give two iotas about but just my view.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are a few people out there that are offended by lots of this stuff. but those that are do not warrant anywhere near the response they get from the culture warriors.

to be honest I've seen a video of a house lady with who appears to be " stuck" in a washing machine whilst a plumber makes a valiant effort to unblock her from behind ......we can be offended at just about anything we like it would seem , as long as her pants were on the line before tea time i'm sure it all worked out fine. The world has changed at an alarming pace over the last 15 years ....x

yes , like i said ....i'm sure you're correct , i'm way behind on all these sorts of things.....i will however draw your attention to the upcoming election in America , you know , the behemoth that like it or not champions the western culture on a global level and
( along with uk)has all the problems associated with social media* , they are the Manchester City to Englands Blythe Spartans and Australia are Bognor Athletic ........China on the other hand are Chelsea and Russia are Brentford....i hope you can grasp this concept , you really are too smart for me .

So it turns out the couple in the audience weren’t just randoms but a couple of far right pro Israel activists with a long history of media and publicity stunts. I think they picked the wrong target this time as Hunter will give as good as he gets

Did anyone hear Reg talking about when his white non-American friend had innocently learned all the rap lyrics, including all the n-words? Two of Reg's black cousins came over for the tour and were horrified at this white guy's use of racist language and were ready to hurt him, but Reg insisted that he was the least racist man in the world and out of respect he wasn't going to name the other comedian in case he got tarred with the racist brush.
Anyway, I saw Steve Hughes in Southampton and it turns out it was him :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

At the risk of going off at a tangent can I ask a simple question? The N is quite rightly considered abhorrent in most contexts. However, in rap music it's incredibly prevalent and seemingly accepted.
