Top top signing. Interesting. Last season it felt like they had taken us over. Will be interesting to see if their manager can keep it going for the second season.

No it didn’t.
Compare their form with ours over second half of the season. Not forgetting they thumped us as well.

I think with our fresh start this season and new signings we will pull ahead again , but interesting business from them.

A poor half-season due to injury didn’t remotely make it feel like they were overtaking us to me

We had a bad run of form, not helped by a constant injury crisis and very young players being forced to play loads of games when not fully fit themselves, such as Ferguson.

At no point did I think Bournemouth had overtaken us any more than we would be challenging for the title.

They took 27 points from their second half of the season. We took 16 points !! You can't just put that all down to injuries. We were rubbish they were really good.

Just more Dwayne trolling. I've no idea what he gets out of the professional miserablism.

Have you ever seen a Bournemouth in the Dam?

Said it on another thread but getting into Europe will be harder than previous seasons. Outside the top 6 you have Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, Bournemouth and even Palace who will think they have enough to push for it. All have good managers and decent squads.

I don’t think they overtook us but I have some sympathy with what Dwayne is saying and don’t think this is particularly trolling this time.

They are a really good side with a top manager and they have been showing a lot of ambition over the past year. Evanilson is a really good and surprising signing for them. They will go well this season.

The art of trolling is to say something plausible in language guaranteed to piss people off.

The board is currently on a massive high with two great signings and a third likely to be on the way (fingers crossed) but, results wise, we spent years in PLB's shadow and have only really just overtaken them. People resent them.

We'll finish higher than Bournemouth IMO and our growth is certainly more sustainable.

Trolling? or balancing out those highs with a bit of cold hard realism.
