[Albion] RDZ's Albion v FB's Albion

As we have moved from a team that liked teams to press us, particularly deep in our half, so that we could break the press and attack with speed, to one that presses high up the pitch, to get the ball back as quickly as possible.

If it was possible for RDZs team to play FBs team (all players available and fit) which team would win and why.

Obviously still a work in progress for this season's team.

Early views?

If you mean the young, unfit, depressed and impotent team from last season, I think we'd beat them 4-0 or something.

I don’t have a valid early view as I haven’t seen us yet this season.

But peak RDZ with Moises and Alexis in the middle- I would be very surprised if we could beat them. That’s the best Brighton side I’ve ever seen by some distance. They were only a couple of better (luckier?) results away from qualifying for the Champions League.

Failed at the first attempt can't even get the manager right FH not FB

absolutely, this argument is totally on wether this was pre Moises and Mac leaving or after.

Those 2 were worldies.

2023 RDZ version was some side. I'd need to see a lot from our current crop to believe we could stay with them.

I reckon RDZ's lot would continually play through them and 2023 Mitoma would have a field day.

I'd fancy our current lot to win a few high turnovers and maybe nick a consolation from a corner

The 2023 teams was good enough to get in the Champs league + should of got to the FA cup final.

That team will probably never be bettered in my Albion life. Literally fancied us against anyone home and away

Shame we couldnt have that team for 1 more season. We may well have a Europa league title now

An RDZ midfield involving Caceido and Mac, a fit Estupinan, March and and fergie would crush Fabs current team hence still trying to sign midfielders. Hopefully one or two of the reported targets are signed which might even things up

Until the current side blow away a couple of top six clubs I will be backing the Albion of RDZ’s first season to wipe the floor with any other Albion team, past and present.
Which is almost the worry, have we peaked?

Is it all down hill from here?:D

That side and display at Chelsea. We’d have done City that day.

Need to see the end of the window first. Not sure we can replace Gross but, at the moment, both Potter and RDZ had far better midfield options and any game against 'them' would have to bypass midfield.
