Hopefully will have some flexibility built into the design so it can be used for other sports when its not in use by the women's team. Falmer as a wider sporting hub would be a brilliant development

If they want a Stadium of 10-12k then the pitches out the front of the University are too small IMO (as someone who does not design Stadiums so my opinion does not count for much).

There is not the space for an Amex I agree.
However, I’d urge you to look at Rotherhams’s brilliant New York 12k capacity stadium squeezed between a bridge, a railway and a river.
I believe this footprint would fit on the rugby pitch.
It's not fluffy, from experience, UK Power Networks are a bloody nightmare to work with, take forever to do anything and charge a fortune for the privilege!
He may well be, fair play for his dedication and the strength of words was probably harsh and over the top from Easy, but that doesn't stop it being a totally stupid question to ask PBOBE as the Deputy Chair of arguably one of the best run clubs in world football.
Maybe it was the wording, and how it came out? Top three things you're still striving to improve? Fine. 3 biggest disappointments? Never going to get a good response, and rightly so

Yeah, I agree. I had a good look at that rugby pitch space quite recently as I was there at the uni for an open day with my son. We were discussing whether you'd get a 10,000-capacity stadium on that site, also for use by the uni. Our "it's not our money" and "we know nothing about stadium design" view was that you could. You can have a good look on Google maps, and single-tier stands all round wouldn't add a huge amount to the pitch footprint. It's when you go to two tiers that things start to expand outwards. Get it built.

How much will it cost? Will investment in this restrict our transfer business or mean we have to sell players? Interested to know whether this sort of thing impacts on PSR.
Those questions were clumsily-worded but nothing the panel can’t handle. And it gave Barber the chance to clarify on Gilmour.
Without some questions with a bit of edge, these events are pretty mundane fare. (the three disappointing things question was just stupid though).
It would have been better to ask why Gilmour has been absent from pre season games despite being with the squad and even in Japan, when others from the Euros were elsewhere. Then maybe there would have been some kind of answer
Using terms like ‘frozen out’ would always be shut down immediately probably because the PFA would be all over it.

Hardly a clarification, nothing PBOBE said excludes the possibility Gilmour leaves the club today, which is really what the (as you point out, clumsily worded) question was about.

I believe that infrastructure improvements can be factored in and offset against expenditure for PSR purposes.

Barber did , and this is very rare, comment on the Gilmour transfer speculation earlier in the window...on Talk Sport.
“We haven’t heard anything more from Napoli. We have turned down one offer from them. Billy has been an important player for us and we’re very keen to keep Billy. He’s a fantastic footballer and a great character around this squad.
“We know that some of our players are going to come under interest and attention from other clubs and we just have to manage that as part and parcel of being who we are and where we are at the stage of our journey.”

It was not a clumsy question about the Gilmour situation. I am at a loss as to why he seems to be expendable - albeit according to Romano. I don't know anyone who wants him to leave.
You are right . quality side step by Barber! although as has been pointed out he has commented further on Gilmour, on talkSPORT

I think you misunderstood. I wasn't suggesting the relationship with them was fluffy i.e. good. I was suggesting that he was politely suggesting they were to blame for the delay
