I see they are shorter odds than us to be relegated.

Do you think there is any chance they will be relegated because of irregularities?

I don’t, too rich and untouchable.

I am talking about Manchester City before the comedians arrive on this thread

The shitfest if they were would make Rangers relegation a few years ago look like child’s play

Absolutly not. They are going to lodge apeal after apeal, counter-claim after counter-claim, lawsuit after lawsuit, complaint after complaint, redress after redress to mire down and bog the FA into apathy over the 115 charges until it all goes by the wayside with a slap on the wrist, spend 36 mins on the naughty step and 'warned' about future actions. Which they will promptly ignore and 10 years time we'll be back at the same point.

Zero chance. Their lawyers would gum it all up for years (as they already have done thus far).

Suspended sentence at worse.

Nope, the PL will be desperate to find a way to avoid that happening

I hope so. The last thing the most popular league in the world needs is the impression of rampant corruption.

Disagree with the majority on here.

I think they will be found guilty on some or all of these charges and face a very large points deduction, albeit, one which, luckily for them and the PL, will leave them just about able to survive in the division.

50 would make it interesting

(Won't happen though)

EDIT: Actually, it would probably have to be 60 to make it interesting

Add a little asterix to their league titles with 'won while in breach of the rules' next to it. (they have one in my head anyway 😂).

If they are found guilty it is ridiculous that they should be able to keep their trophies from that time.

I reckon it will be somewhere between 40 and 55 points (depending on how their season is going, though of course the process is entirely independent!).

Then of course, the teams who were docked points, will quite fairly ask the question, how come City get less than half a point per charge? Whereas we got multiple points for a breach, but nobody will pay any attention to that.

City can go on as they were for another decade, they've lost a season, but they will take that
PL can say they've punished a big club and there's equal justice for all
The nightmare scenario of relegating City, but them dragging it through the courts won't occur
The lawyers can still count plenty of cash
